April 28, 2026 is World Day for Safety and Health at Work . This global observance, recognized annually by the International Labour Organization, underscores the importance of preventing workplace injuries, promoting health, and fostering a strong culture of safety. In alignment with these goals, the conference is designed to raise awareness, provide education, and offer practical tools that support the safety, health, and overall well-being of employees across our campus community. FSAP has partnered with Occupational Health and we will be hosting the Safety and Health at Work Conference on April 28, 2026 from 9:00am -3:00 pm. The conference will include presentations from Occupational Health, Department of Environmental Safety, Sustainability, & Risk , Department of Hearing and Speech, and more. Throughout the day staff will have access to blood pressure checks, blood sugar checks, eye exams, hearing tests, and have access to a number of resources in our resource room.
