AI Everywhere: UCGIS Symposium
The University Consortium for Geographic Information Science (UCGIS) will host its 2026 Symposium at the University of Maryland in College Park from June 15–18. Centered on the theme AI Everywhere!, the symposium will explore the opportunities and challenges artificial intelligence presents for geospatial research, education and practice as the field of GeoAI continues to grow.
Design Sprint (Aug 3, 10, 17, 24)
Develop your fall course over four weeks with expert, one-on-one guidance and peer support.
Spend two days with colleagues and TLTC staff to learn about evidence-based teaching practices and apply them to your own course design. If you have a course that you're designing, redesigning, or just thinking about creating.
A week of fun and interactive activities will take place across the campus and the broader community promoting the themes: Create. Make. Play.
