Join us for a webinar on UMD’s campus-wide approach to open data. As more public and private grant funders require the publication of data to support sponsored research and as some of us lose access to the valuable data we use in our own research, it is more important than ever to engage in making your own data openly available in a sustainable and discoverable way. The University of Maryland has launched our new Research Data Management and Open Data Hub. Our new online hub pulls resources from groups around the university together in one location and provides a roadmap for making your data openly available, from early planning through to publication.
In this webinar with the UMD Libraries’ Head of Open Scholarship Services, we will discuss this new collection of resources and provide guidance on how and why to make your research data openly available.
