Redesign your Assignments for Artificial Intelligence (Mini-Retreat)

Teaching and Learning Transformation Center workshop for instructors:
Now that Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based tools like ChatGPT are prevalent, you may want to redesign some of your course’s assignments to either encourage or discourage AI usage. In this half-day retreat, you will 1) experiment with using AI-based tools yourself, 2) explore ways to incorporate AI into assignments, and 3) explore ways to discourage AI usage in assignments. Expect to leave this retreat with a plan for the redesign of at least one of your assignments for the upcoming semester. No previous AI experience or knowledge needed. A light breakfast will be provided.
