Launching a product-based business no longer requires large upfront investment, a complex business plan, or venture capital. With today’s e-commerce platforms for manufacturing, fulfillment, and distribution—combined with powerful AI tools for product design, marketing, customer insights, and operations—entrepreneurs can quickly bring products to market with minimal overhead. This session will explore how to identify and launch product ideas, register your company, use AI to streamline the development and sales process, and scale efficiently from a small side hustle into a sustainable full-time business. Participants will gain practical strategies, examples, and resources to turn product ideas into thriving ventures.

Presenter:

Harry Geller is a seasoned entrepreneur who has founded, owned, and managed fourteen multi-million-dollar businesses in logistics, food services, and real estate. Four of his ventures earned spots on the INC. 500 list of fastest-growing companies, and he was named EY Entrepreneur of the Year in 1992. Geller founded Global Mail, later acquired by Deutsche Post, where he served as CEO of the Americas, and he also built SoDel Concepts, a successful restaurant group on the Delaware Seashore. Today, he channels his passion for entrepreneurship into mentoring as an Entrepreneur in Residence at the University of Maryland’s UM Ventures.
