Let's Talk About Grade Inflation

Grade inflation has become a prominent topic in higher education, but the questions it raises are more complicated than simply asking whether students are earning too many A's. What should grades communicate? How do we know when changing grades represent inflation? What factors might be contributing to this, and what, if anything, should we do about it? Join colleagues for a facilitated conversation to explore these questions, share experiences across instructional contexts, and consider possible next steps for our courses and departments.
