Flyer for GenAI Petting Zoo

Teaching and Learning Transformation Center workshop for instructors:

Explore what’s possible with generative AI at UMD at the GenAI Petting Zoo, cohosted by the TLTC and Division of IT (DIT). This hands-on event invites you to:

- Test-drive UMD-approved GenAI tools: TerpAI, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, Notebook LM, ChatGPT and PerplexityAI, as well as explore the power of Virtual Study Assistants

- Connect with DIT and TLTC experts for personalized guidance and troubleshooting

- Share feedback and suggestions to improve tools for campus use

Whether you’re curious about trying AI for the first time or already using it and want deeper support, this is your opportunity to learn, discover new ideas, and prepare for Spring 2026.

This is a companion workshop to TLTC's Resdesigning Your Assignments for AI Mini-Retreat. Attend both sessions and spend the day with us to dive deep into how GenAI can be used in your course.
