This webinar offers AI and software startup founders practical guidance on transforming innovation into protected, valuable assets. Learn how to evaluate the patentability of your technology, decide when trade secret protection makes sense, and design an IP strategy that aligns with your business goals.

Presenters:

Andrew D. Wright, Calderon Saffran & Wright. Mr. Wright prepares and prosecutes patent applications in the mechanical and electromechanical arts. Mr. Wright’s practice additionally involves performing searches for clients, including freedom to operate (right to use), invalidity, patentability, and opposition searches. Mr. Wright is also experienced in the preparation of invalidity and non-infringement opinions.

Palash Basu, Calderon Saffran & Wright, an intellectual property (IP) lawyer with over a decade of experience representing renowned corporations, top universities, and pioneering technology startups. Palash brings additional experience in the areas of IP transactions, technology transfer, open source software licensing, data privacy, and AI governance.
