- Edward St. John Learning and Teaching Center

Teaching and Learning Transformation Center workshop for instructors:
In this active workshop you will build skills for facilitating productive oppositional conflict, specifically bridging and relating in during difficult conversations. Relating in involves using empathy and personal vulnerability to connect with another person and lower defensiveness in conflicting parties. Bridging involves diffusing emotions and redirecting attention from a conflict flashpoint to common values. If you attend the first workshop in this series, this workshop will build on the self-work from the first session. Registration for the first workshop is not required for participation in this workshop. No experience with improvisation required.
