Flyer for Addressing Implicit Bias in Teaching

Teaching and Learning Transformation Center workshop for instructors:

Join us to delve into the unconscious attitudes and stereotypes that can influence classroom interactions and decision-making processes. Participants will engage in reflective activities and discussions to uncover personal biases and explore their impact on student engagement and learning outcomes. Through a combination of research-based insights and practical strategies, instructors will learn how to create more inclusive and equitable learning environments. This workshop aims to empower educators to recognize and mitigate implicit biases, fostering a culture of awareness and inclusivity in higher education.
