The University of Maryland Alumni Association invites you to our first-ever Terp Academy, a new opportunity to reconnect with the spirit of learning that defines University of Maryland.
Join us for a day of unique, behind-the-scenes experiences, hands-on classes and engaging lectures led by Maryland faculty and experts. From exploring cutting-edge research spaces to participating in interactive workshops and discussions, Terp Academy offers a chance to dive into the ideas, discoveries and creativity happening across campus today.
Your day will include a welcome breakfast, lunch, and closing program — as well as two “choose your own adventure” blocks where you can select from concurrent seminars and experiences. To learn more about the options, please visit the Alumni Association website. You will be prompted to make activity selections upon registration.
All activities have a limited capacity and will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. You can add up to 4 additional guests upon registering.
Terp Academy is open to anyone ages 12 and up. Some lecture-style sessions and behind-the-scenes tours are geared toward adult learners, but there’s plenty for curious Terps of all ages to enjoy. On campus transportation will be available during the day to make sure you get to classes and activities. You also have the option (and time) to walk.
Registration Fee: Alumni Association Members - $25 | Non-Members - $50
