The patent workshop continues the story of patents with discussions on litigation, various court cases and events that concern patent law, including cases at the Supreme Court. The implementation of the America Invents Act (AIA) and Inter partes review (IPR) proceedings, the pros/cons will be addressed. Current policy issues such as the appointment of the new Commissioner and covid patent controversy will also be discussed.

Presenter: Raymond Van Dyke has been an intellectual property and technology attorney for over 25 years. He is licensed to practice in District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Texas, and the United States Patent & Trademark Office.
