Did you know the University of Maryland is a certified Bee Campus?
Join the University of Maryland's Bee Campus Committee, Arboretum & Botanical Gardens, and Institute of Applied Agriculture for our 3rd annual tour of pollinator gardens on campus as we Celebrate Pollinator Week 2026. Expert leaders in horticulture, entomology, green roofs, and conservation landscapes will lead us on a tour of the:
- Knight Hall Pollinator Garden,
- Green roof & inside peek of the still-being-built Center for Sports Medicine, Health and Human Performance within the Cole Student Activities Building,
- The new David C. Driskell Center garden,
- Other pollinator plantings along the Purple Line on Campus Drive, and
- The new Karin Lazarus Memorial Pollinator Garden (if time allows)
Learn about new pollinator-friendly changes to our campus landscapes along the Purple Line and see incredible views from our largest campus green roof!
This tour is open to the public.
