Language House International Film Series: "The Adventures of Captain Wrongel" with the Russian Cluster

Join us for an international movie screening at the Language House, hosted by students of the Russian Cluster. We will screen 'The Adventures of Captain Wrongel' at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 8, in 0107 St. Mary's Hall, the International Film Lounge. The film is a Soviet animated series that follows the comical maritime adventures of the bumbling but good-hearted Captain Wrongel and his loyal sailor Lom. While participating in an international regatta, they get tangled in a web of international intrigue involving art theft, spies, and mistaken identities. The series blends slapstick humor with satire and catchy musical numbers. Everyone is welcome to attend.
