Spanish in the Community: Celebrating 10 Years of Learning Together / Aprendiendo Juntos at Hollywood Elementary School

Since the Fall of 2016, undergraduate students in SPAN 374 Spanish in the community have participated in the Learning Together / Aprendiendo Juntos After-School Program at Hollywood Elementary School (HES), located in north College Park. Students provide English classes to immigrant parents and homework assistance and tutoring to preK-5 students at HES. Join us for a conversation and celebration with school personnel, current students and alumni of the program, and parents on the 10th anniversary of the program. Refreshments will be served.
