Latine Heritage Month

LHM at UMD is planned collaboratively between the MICA office and the Coalition of Latinx Student Organizations.

This year our committee has selected the theme “Sueños sin Fronteras”, Spanish for Dreams without Borders. For the committee, the theme acts as a way to reflect on the impact that immigration has had on our communities. It is a call to honor the stories and sacrifices that generations made before us in order to uplift and nurture future generations.
