How to Help a Friend: Lunch and Learn Workshop

  • To
  • Adele H. Stamp Student Union
On a beige background with hearts in dialogue/chat bubbles, the title "How to Help a Friend Lunch and Learn Workshop" is displayed. Underneath the title are details for the event, such as two of the partnering organizations, the date, the location, and the RSVP information. On the bottom left, the icons for CARE to Stop Violence, the Office of Civil Rights and Sexual Misconduct, and OneLove are shown. On the bottom right is an animated image of three friends sitting next to each other.

This workshop will focus on how to respond and navigate supporting a friend, peer, or partner that has been impacted by sexual misconduct. In this workshop, we will discuss what to do, how to respond, and also understand the importance of self-care.

Please contact Ayanna Samuels-Francis at asamuelf@umd.edu to request any reasonable accommodations for the workshop. In all situations, a good faith effort will be made to provide accommodations.

RSVP is not required to attend, but please feel free to let us know if you are planning on joining us!
