This spring CARE is hosting Coping with Trauma: Drop-In Support Group! This drop-in group is open to students who identify as female and is led by trained CARE Peer Advocates. Together, we’ll learn about trauma responses and create coping tools through arts and crafts in a supportive, peer-centered space. If you are looking for community and ready to build coping skills for navigating past and present trauma, this is the group for you.

The group will occur on Thursdays, March 26 through April 30 from 1-2pm. Due to the nature of the group, doors close at 1:10pm. Light refreshments will be served. For more information email uhc-care@umd.edu

Please note: This is not a psychotherapy group and is not facilitated by a therapist. A CARE therapist will be onsite for support, and the group will be facilitated by trained peer advocates.
