Perspectives on Adoption Justice

Join Multicultural Involvement and Community Advocacy (MICA) and the School of Public Health (SPH) for a panel discussion on understanding different perspectives on adoption justice. What does justice look like in the context of adoption? Who is harmed and who benefits in our current model? What do the diverse experiences of those touched by adoption tell us? Featuring members of our UMD community as well as local activists, this panel will center adoptee voices in honor of Adoptee Awareness Month.

Light refreshments will be provided, but we encourage folks to bring their own lunch. This event is open to the public.

RSVP not required, but helpful to us in the planning process. RSVP at stamp.umd.edu/AdoptionJustice
