The Sadat Forum: Business as Usual or the End of America’s Middle East?

As the consequences of the American-Israeli war on Iran continue to unfold, some areas of considerable debate are the long-term ramifications for politics and alliances in the Middle East, the nature of the regional system that is likely to emerge, and the subsequent roles of the United States and other global powers in the region once the war ends.

To discuss these issues, it is my pleasure to invite you to a timely, virtual conversation on “Business as Usual or the End of America’s Middle East?” with three leading scholars of international relations: Professor Gregory Gause of Texas A&M University, Professor Marc Lynch of George Washington University, and Professor Elizabeth Saunders of Columbia University. I will moderate the conversation.
