The Frederick Douglass Center for Leadership Through the Humanities presents The Banned Books Battle: A Teach-In. Led by Lindsay Carpenter, Head of Research Education at UMD Libraries, this session will address national and local trends in book challenges, with an emphasis on the impact on public schools. It will also provide resources and action items for preparing for and addressing book challenges.
