Join us for an inspiring conversation with Logan Dechter, a 2020 graduate of the University of Maryland who earned dual B.A. degrees in Spanish Language, Literature, and Culture (with High Honors) and psychology. Logan later completed a Master of Education in School Counseling at UMD in 2022. Logan’s journey is a testament to how language study can shape real-world impact. Now a professional school counselor in Montgomery County, Logan is passionate about suicide prevention and LGBTQ+ advocacy—and he's returning to share how his Spanish degree continues to make a difference every day.
