The QUEST Honors Program is celebrating its 30th year at the University of Maryland. QUEST started in 1992 with a grant from IBM. UMD was one of 8 universities to win the grant to create a program focused on total quality principles with students from business and engineering. From what we know, QUEST is the only program that still exists today. In 2001, CMNS students were added to the program. We now have 270 students in our program from Smith, Clark, and CMNS each year, and they complete 17 credits throughout their 3 years. We are having a celebration at The Hotel on November 12, 2022 6-8PM and anticipate around 225 alumni from the past 30 years will attend to celebrate!
