In a panel discussion moderated by Professor of Finance Russell Wermers, UMD’s Clifford Rossi and Robert Brammer, with Conning Director of Risk Solutions Matthew Lightwood, will discuss their new white paper, “Quantifying the Financial Impacts of Climate Change.” The work includes a set of models to show material climate-related risks -- that current climate scenarios do not capture -- for insurance and pension fund asset allocations in the next five to 10 years.
