Opera Aoi (in Japanese with English subtitles) adapts a section of The Tale of Genji, the world's first novel, with bunraku puppets and Vocaloids. The film will be introduced by Dr. Browne and followed by a short Q&A. Sponsored by the Japanese Program in SLLC in collaboration with Henson Day, which celebrates the birth of Jim Henson and his innovations in puppetry arts.
