Join the LGBTQ+ Equity Center on Thursday, May 7th from 12:0-2:00pm on McKeldin Mall to make necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings, carabiners, and more! Jewelry has been used as a tool for self expression throughout history and as queer signaling within and beyond the LGBTQ+ community. We'll talk about the history of queer signaling through jewelry while we make some jewelry of our own! In case of rain, our back-up location will be the LGBTQ+ Equity Center (2411 Marie Mount Hall). All are welcome to attend. For questions or accommodations, email lgbtq@umd.edu.
