Join the Department of Kinesiology for their annual Black History Month lecture. Dr. Tara Blackshear (Towson University) dares us to examine the past and present to change the racial landscape of kinesiology in the future. She will highlight the underpinnings of racism in the field of kinesiology and provide recommendations to help kinesiology achieve racial equity in research and practice.
