Join us for an evening dedicated to discussing the most pressing issues, channeling positive change, and celebrating achievements in global health! The symposium brings together students, faculty, staff, and professionals for an interactive and engaging event.
The event opens with an organization and research showcase. Several faculty, students, and outside researchers will present research they have done in global health, providing students a networking and educational opportunity. Alongside researchers, several global health organizations at UMD will be present, giving students a chance to become directly involved with the issues they care about most. The second half of the symposium features a panel with accomplished experts in policy, advocacy, clinical work, and research engaged in a dynamic discussion. Attendees will be able to connect with them directly through a live Q&A session.
The event closes with a raffle for a $100 Shake Shack voucher, so don't miss your chance to win! Food and drinks will be provided as well!
Whether you are passionate about global health, curious about current issues, or want to connect with like-minded people, this is event you do not want to miss!
