- Adele H. Stamp Student Union

This docuseries takes viewers through the history of Filipino American activism in the San Francisco Bay area. From the Filipino farm labor movement to the struggle for the International Hotel in the 1960s and ‘70s, and the activism in Filipino punk culture to the SF-based anti-dictatorship movement during Martial Law in the Philippines. The show’s special touch? Each episode features a mouthwatering cooking segment of a Filipino dish related to that history.
Join us on April 30th from 6-8pm in the Grand Ballroom Lounge to get a “taste” of what it was like to engage in different forms of Filipino American activism and learn some new recipes along the way.
