28th Annual Lavender Celebration of Graduates & Award Winners

The Lavender Celebration of Graduates and Award Winners is an annual event that brings our community together to honor and celebrate the remarkable individuals who have contributed to making the University of Maryland a more inclusive and supportive environment for LGBTQ+ people. Join us for the 28th Annual Lavender Celebration, which will be held in the Stamp Atrium on Monday, May 18th, 2026. Doors will open at 4:30pm, with the ceremony taking place from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Dinner will be served, providing an opportunity to connect and celebrate in a welcoming atmosphere. Registrants must participate in the event to ensure they receive the Lavender Celebration honorific regalia or certificate. Register to graduate or attend at go.umd.edu/LavenderRSVP26.
