The Pictures of Public Health: Global Stories and Timeless Wisdom
Join us for an evening of storytelling with SPH Dean Boris Lushniak, SPH Founding Dean Robert Gold and illustrator Maya Nadison. Together, they will explore how stories and images have shaped our understanding of public health across generations and around the world. Drawing on Gold and Nadison’s forthcoming book, they will connect age-old wisdom with modern approaches to public health practice, leadership and policy. Gold and Lushniak will also share stories from the School of Public Health’s own 20-year journey — from its founding to its growth in education, research and impact on the health of communities in Maryland and around the globe.
Reception to follow. All are welcome!
