Flyer for Zine Making Workshop. Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at 4:00PM - 6:30PM.

Have you been itching to create something using both your brain and your hands? Want to learn an easy way to share your ideas with your community? Join us at the JSG Makerspace and design your first zine! Absolutely no experience necessary.

What is a zine, and why would I want to make one?

A zine (pronounced "zeen," like the last syllable in "magazine") is a small, handmade booklet that you design, print, and share yourself. Zines are a way to share art, information, and humor. Anyone can make a zine about anything! During this event, we'll start with a brief overview of zine history and culture, then show you how to make your own! All materials will be provided.
