Life in your twenties can be complicated: adapting to life post-graduation can involve moving to new cities, beginning new careers, or learning how to adapt to a 9-5 schedule. Are you on the right career path? Are you getting paid enough? What is a 401K and should you be investing? How can you build community after College Park? Join the Alumni Association on Friday, September 23 for a day-long career conference dedicated to personal and professional circumstances unique to young alumni. Whether you want to call it "adulting" or "entering the real world" the Alumni Association is here to support you and help you thrive.

As a conference participant you will have access to:

  • Workshops and speakers covering topics from Budgeting and Finance to Pivoting on Purpose
  • Breakfast, lunch, and a 2.5-hour open bar networking event with fellow alumni
  • An all-day resource fair featuring personal and professional resources exclusive to alumni
  • A photographer who will be taking professional headshots
  • 20-minute consultations from licensed Career Coaches
  • Mock Interview slots to practice your interview skills
  • Access to TerpWork, a dedicated coworking space throughout the day
  • Option to take Gallup Strengths Assessment, followed by a two-hour workshop entitled Starting with Strengths
