Women's History Month: Ordinary Women Do Extraordinary Things

The theme of this year's Women's History Month is about small acts of bravery and kindness that accumulate to change the course of history. As a society we tend towards highlighting bold acts, but often forget about everyday actions like keeping oral traditions alive, celebrating natural hair textures, starting a dialogue to challenge culture and norms within our communities, or tending to the next generation. This year we wish to shine a light on the immeasurable contributions of women throughout history (and today!) who made a difference through small, everyday, meaningful actions.
