The University Senate will hold its first meeting of the 2026-2027 academic year. The University Senate will hear updates from Chair Stickle regarding matters that were handled by the Senate Executive Committee on behalf of the University Senate. The 2025-2026 University Senate Legislation Log (Senate Document #26-27-01) and the 2026 Council of University System Staff Elections (Senate Document #25-26-51) will also be presented as informational items. Senators will vote on the Approval of the 2026-2027 Committee & Council Slates (Senate Document #26-27-02) and the proposal to Change the
Senate Bylaws for the Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion Committee (Senate Document #25-26-11).
