As a pivotal ally in the Middle East, Israel's strategic importance to the U.S. has been a constant in American foreign policy, but the nuances of this relationship often shift with changes in presidential administrations. Hosted by Yael S. Aronoff, director of Jewish Studies at Michigan State University, and Yael A. Sternhell, professor of history and American studies at Tel Aviv University, this panel discussion aims to explore the significant influence of U.S. presidential elections on the diplomatic, economic and security relationship between the United States and Israel.
