Terrapin EdTalks 2023: Elevating Teachers and Teaching spotlight the role that research plays in supporting teachers, elevating teaching, and addressing some of the grand challenges facing schools and society—from equity and diversity, to mental health, to literacy, to democracy.
Six faculty experts will explore how their research in education, human development and psychology is helping to shape policies and practices in Maryland and beyond. They will discuss their work to increase equity in public schools and diversity in the teacher workforce, enhance student and educator well-being, and support teachers as they strive to improve their own skills and help students succeed.
