Calling all well-behaved dogs!
Teddy’s Pup Parade is back and this year it joins the Terp Carnival festivities!
On Friday, October 16, Teddy and his pal, Sammy, will lead the pack in this year’s Homecoming event. The parade will kick off at 5:45 p.m., on McKeldin Mall, by Marie Mount Hall. The pups will enjoy a festive walk towards McKeldin Library and make a right by Francis Scott Key and end by the stage.
Check-in and on-site registration is from 4:45 p.m. – 5:40 p.m. Pups must be on a leash. We will also have extra waste bags on site, if needed. To save time, registered in advance. You don't need to register if you are attending to cheer on the pups.
** Please note, a fireworks display will occur at or around 8 p.m. Please plan your time after the parade for you and your pup accordingly.**
Event Time: 5:45 p.m. - 6 p.m.
Address: McKeldin Mall by Marie Mount Hall, UMD (see attached map)
Since this event is part of the Terp Carnival, we will follow their inclement weather policy. If the decision is made to move the carnival inside, the Pup Parade will be cancelled.
Location
Parade starts on McKeldin Mall, by Marie Mount Hall.
