Spring 2023 Main Commencement Ceremony

The University of Maryland will hold its Spring 2023 Commencement on Monday, May 22, 2023, at 7 p.m. for Summer 2022, Fall 2022, and Spring 2023 graduates. Journalist Gayle King '76 will deliver the commencement address.

In addition to an individual school, college, or department ceremony, each graduate and six of their guests are invited to attend the main university ceremony, held on Monday, May 22, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. in SECU Stadium. Entrance gates will open at 5:30pm. The main ceremony features our commencement speaker, president, and other notable speakers and honorees. Students will be recognized as a group with their school or college.
