This researcher and practitioner forum will enable researchers, educators, scholars, practitioners, and students—interested in solving society’s Big Challenges—to connect, discuss interdisciplinary interests, and uncover potential future research directions. Presenters will highlight recent work on equitable communities, a topic inspired by the MAPP Strategic Initiative #2: to create diverse and inclusive built environment discourse and action.

A networking reception will conclude the Forum.

Presentation topics include:

  • Equity and Access to Electric Vehicles and Charging Infrastructure in Maryland
  • Combining Environmental Health Assessments with Infrastructure Planning and Participatory Research to Evaluate Risks from Sanitary Sewer Overflows and Basement Backups
