College of Arts and Humanities

Faculty and students in the College of Arts and Humanities (ARHU) study the cultures of the world, past and present, in all their rich variety.
The Maryland Cochlear Implant Center of Excellence, an MPower initiative, summer camp for preschoolers with or getting cochlear implants. UMD students in speech-language pathology and audiology work with the children ages 3 to 6 to enhance language, literacy and social skills.
