Pitch Dingman Competition, the Dingman-Lamone Center for Entrepreneurship’s signature annual Shark Tank–style event, brings together the University of Maryland’s most promising student founders to compete for funding! Watch live as top student and alum entrepreneurs across four competition tracks pitch their ventures to a panel of expert judges for a chance to win a share of more than $150,000 in prizes.
Before the competition begins, join us from 4:00–5:00 p.m. for our Terp Town Showcase, where a variety of student entrepreneurs will present their business ideas, prototypes, and early-stage ventures. It’s a great opportunity to explore innovative concepts, meet the founders behind them, and see the breadth of entrepreneurship happening across campus.
After Terp Town, the main Pitch Dingman Competition kicks off as finalists take the stage to deliver live pitches followed by Q&A with judges. Throughout the evening, founders will compete across multiple tracks, sharing their vision, traction, and growth plans as they vie for funding and recognition. The event concludes with the announcement of winners and a celebration of the next generation of Terp innovators.
