Pedagogical Wellness
- To
Teaching and Learning Transformation Center workshop for instructors:
Teaching takes time, energy, and care. This session will explore pedagogical wellness as a way to align teaching with your well-being. Defined by Duong et al. (2023), pedagogical wellness is the integration of evidence-based teaching and wellness strategies that support both instructor and student well-being.
We will examine how course design, communication, classroom culture, and identity can support or strain your capacity to teach effectively. You will have space to reflect on what’s working, what feels unsustainable, and what might need to shift. You will leave with strategies that are flexible, practical, and responsive to the realities of your teaching context.
