Releasing software under Open Source (OS) licenses has become ubiquitous in both academia and industry. It is a great way to generate collaboration and disseminate innovation. However there are a great number of various OS licenses and it can be confusing and intimidating to navigate them. Please join our workshop where experts will provide an overview of the various types of OS licenses, and a guidance on which licenses would be best for academic works.
