Mental Health First Aid Training for Students

Enhance your ability to support those around you with the in person Mental Health First Aid training at UMD. This 9-hour (2 hours self-paced learning with 7 hours of instructor-led learning) teaches participants how to recognize and respond to mental health and substance use challenges using an effective action plan. Engage in role plays, scenarios, and discussions to build skills and confidence. Certification is valid for three years. The training is open to current undergraduate and graduate students.

Note: This training session is limited to the first 30 registrants. Registration will close once all spots are filled.
