The Data Science/GIS workshop series is powered by GIS and Data Service Center, and Research Education at University Libraries. This workshop series offers introductory to advanced level skills in QGIS, Data Science, Data Visualization among others.

QGIS is an open source and cross-platform Geographic Information System (GIS) software that supports displaying, storing, editing, and analysis of geospatial data. In this workshop, the instructor will provide live demos to display spatial data, create GIS layers from raw data, and perform some basic spatial analysis. Attendees of this workshop will have access to hands-on exercises and datasets.
