Innovation isn’t limited to Silicon Valley—it thrives in nonprofits, government agencies, and businesses alike. Through the stories of social impact entrepreneurs and nonprofit trailblazers—like the Mayo Clinic, the American civil rights movement, and Fred Rogers’ nonprofit production company—we learn that leaders who embrace innovation can create meaningful change.

This webinar will introduce innovation processes that you can implement in your own work—whether you’re just getting started or already running an established social impact organization. We'll explore what innovation really looks like in a nonprofit context:

  • How might design thinking be adapted for social missions?
  • What role do experimentation and failure play in purpose-driven work?
  • Can business tools like validation, market research, and metrics support—not stifle—mission delivery?

We'll also dive into the mindset shifts needed to lead innovation, especially in environments where time is limited and business acumen is still developing.
