The Data Science/GIS workshop series is powered by GIS and Data Service Center, and Research Education at University Libraries. This workshop series offers introductory to advanced level skills in GIS, Data Science, and Data Visualization, among others.
Join us to celebrate Annual GIS Day and AR Sandbox Award Ceremony with a complimentary lunch (registration required) hosted by the GIS and Data Service Center, the John & Stella Graves Makerspace at the STEM Library, and the Research Education,
UMD Libraries. GIS technology plays a pivotal role in understanding our planet, enabling informed decisions, and solving real-world challenges. On this special day, we're thrilled to offer a variety of exciting activities filled with knowledge and inspiration as we delve into the world of spatial information.
As part of the event we will announce the AR Sandbox mapping competition winners and present the awards. The awards are made possible by a generous gift from John and Stella Graves Family. See you there!
