Research Education at University Libraries workshops equip researchers with the tools, concepts, and skills needed for every stage of the research lifecycle. The Data Science/GIS workshop series is powered by the GIS and Data Service Center. This workshop series offers introductory to advanced-level skills in GIS, Data Science, and Data Visualization among others.

Join us for an introductory workshop that delves into the cutting-edge intersection of Geographic Information System (GIS) technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) with a focus on ArcGIS Pro. Participants will explore several Geo-AI tools available within the ArcGIS Pro environment, discovering how AI algorithms enhance decision-making processes in spatial analytics. From automating feature extraction and land cover classification to predicting spatial patterns and trends, among others. Prior knowledge of GIS/ArcGIS Pro is helpful to attend this workshop but not required.
