Flyer for Foundations of Community and Client-Based Learning

Teaching and Learning Transformation Center workshop for instructors:

Community and client-based learning are forms of experiential learning that connect students with external partners to apply course concepts, solve real-world challenges, and develop professional skills. In this workshop, you’ll explore community and client-based partnerships and learn how to design these experiences so they are structured, ethical, and impactful. We’ll discuss strategies for building partnerships, preparing students for professional collaboration, and using reflection and assessment to enhance learning. The Center for Community Engagement will also share ways they can help you bring these opportunities to your courses.
